1. Spirituality
* Still doing Japa/Mala practice (180 malas said to date). I'm finding dedicating a week each to Shiva/Parvati/Durga is working v. well.
* I am signed on to kitchen witch for GoG's Summer Solstace rit which should be interesting as it's the walk around rit which means it will be me (mostly) alone in the house in solo kitchen witchery contemplation. I'm looking forward to it.
* We put together our altar which is really kick ass, the picture doesn't do it justice. We have Indian deities living on the top shelf, Greek deities living on the middle shelf, the third wider space is our "work space" altar, the next shelf is for our ancestors. We then took apart our magic tote and put bottled herbs in one basket and ritual/spell components on the other. I am in love! It's organized, easily accessible to me, etc.
* Still blogging in my magical blog.
2. Get in better shape
* As of today, I will now be going to the gym 3x a week. Hopefully that will help. We eat out much less still and try to make healthy decisions. We just changed up our bento lunch again. I started on the ellipical. I can do weights and bicycling or I can do the ellipical. I'd like to get to doing the ellipical and weights, I have in the past so I think in another week or two I'll be there.
3. Writing
* Started writing the novel I've been talking about.
* CoC made it past the initial editor review and is now being reviewed by the acquisition editing group with Ellora's Cave, so we'll see what happens there. But, made it past the first slush pile which I count as a victory.
* Still slogging away at freelance writing.
4. Crafting
* Finished the white BFL, started on black merino for the hat.
* Jow and I put together an order for stuff for Trevia. We should be able to open the etsy shop for Trevia soon. Mojo hands, honey pots, mini shrines, Goddess Dollies, and incense are first on our to do.
Other
* We've done a lot of work to make the house more accessible to me and that has helped me like whoa. I have a "feeding/crafting station" in the living room for me to neatly keep my spinning and to use for my drink, food, etc. (it's a small round ikea table), most of my crafting stuff is in a crafting caddy, we got a shelving unit for open food storage for me to access more easily, a hanging pot rack, my clothes are organized in an accessible manner, the bathroom has additional open storage for me to access things, the new altar set up, etc., etc. It's really helped me feel more in control of my surroundings and in control of my fibromyalgia. I feel like I can contribute so much more to my household now and that's important. Accessability = freedom.
* Oh the drama. Dealing with getting my sister hitched in September (of this year), engagement party in Aug for her and bridesmaid woes for the wedding next month in Kansas. Of course there was a problem with my dress, of course. I just proposed a solution, past that I don't know what to do.
* We've been doing really good at keeping the house neat and doing a little every day. I've been really pleased with that, house has been at company clean for about a week.
