corvaxgirlMy date last night with Jow started with him bringing home the awesome tribute of Rolaids Soft Chews in a resealable pack. This is awesome because I had just run out and kept forgetting to get more (which makes for v. unpleasant sleeping if I have reflux) and they get crunchy and gross, so resealable = awesome!
We then kicked it out old school and got some starbucks and came home to cook! We hadn't had a cooking date where we made a fancy menu in a while. This is actually tricky to manage, usually it winds up being overly complicated and time intensive or so simple, it's a boring weeknight dinner. But! We've been in love with Provence cooking since we saw Anthony Boudain (who has grown on us) hanging there, but finding something not crazily labor intense and not crazily calorie intensive (but also not boring diet food) was hard, but I found it.

Fresh Radishes with Sea Salt and Butter
Warm fresh French Bread
Miss Martha's Provincal Chicken with Roasted Baby Vegetables
Honeyed Lavendar Dark Chocolate Mousse
Rose Wine
