corvaxgirl* So, the honeymoon is over with NJ's governor, predictably. It really burns me up that he's giving over $1B to families making over 400K a year, but sorry girls! You're just going to use the state money at Planned Parenthood to have twenty abortions each anyway, it's not fair for the tax payers to *assist* in a sliding scale to make sure you're able to get pap tests to make sure you don't have cervical cancer which is one of the most preventable cancers there is with regular screenings. This directly affects me. I'm a working, tax paying woman, damnit. For a small company that doesn't give health insurance. I *need* the assistance that Planned Parenthood's sliding scale gives me to keep up with my precancerous screenings. Rage.
* As for the new healthcare reform, I don't even know what to feel. It's going to go through so many changes that it's hard to feel too much either way. I'm in a bad spot for it, I'm not "poor", I work but I don't have insurance, and I don't make that much money, especially in NJ. I'm not sure what this will mean for me at all. But, supposedly, there's no more pre-existing conditions and no more caps which is a tentative yay.
* I feel like crap today. Headcold? Allergies? Working too much? Nebulous stinky cat syndrome? Who knows. My throat hurts and my head feels crappy and I'm sneezing.
* I started spinning a blend of 75% BFL wool/25% blend of merino/tussah silk. It's delicious.
* Working omg OT. Which makes it omg hard to write. Not feeling well is not assisting in this. I'm hoping to still make the deadlines I'd like to make. I think I can.
* Peapod'ing for this week's groceries!
