corvaxgirl* Tuesday night Lis came over and I taught her how to make Chicken Picatta and then we made Madeleines dipped in dark chocolate with lemon zest. She got to use the mixmaster. Mothra came over for dinner, which was really nice. shardkin doesn't mind spending time with them. I told her next time we'd make sauce, grind meat, and make pasta.
* Wednesday I was supposed to go on a Super Sekrit Mini Road Trip with April to get James' V-day prezzie but now will need to do so on Sunday. I will need to buy cards tomorrow. Everything else has been bought for everyone, including pjs for mom.
* On our SNOOOOOOOOOOW DAY, Jow and I slept in massively for us (11a) because we didn't want to get out of warm bed. He made me brunch and we talked about Trevia. He is really good to write with because he will get me stuff to drink, pop champagne, share a clove, sit quietly, help me find a better phrase, and read passages of my story. We made chicken tandoori and roasted curry pumpkin with basmati rice for dinner, it was nom! Had some fancy Wildberry Lavender ice cream for dessert.
* Jow is on Phase III in Operation Get New Job. After his drug test on Monday, it's one more interview and then hopefully job offer. He's doing first interview with Other Similiar Place on Monday as well.
* Tonight James and I decided to go on an earlyish date right after work because he's not good with the snow (as he lived the majority of his life in Alabama) and my car is a rollerskate and the words "black ice" drive fear in my heart. So we're going to B&N and Panera and then having an online writing date.
* I have been working enough OT this week that I will get a normal check which is happy.
* Got my first paycheck from the website, also happy.
