So after months of whining to my editor, "Is it doooooooooooooooooooooooooooone yet?", my erotica piece, "Party Girl" is now available for pre-order for the low low low price of $1.25 'cause it's short! (About 5K words)
This is the excerpt that we're discussing using, I'm not sure if we're actually using it but I couldn't contain myself any longer:
She walked out into the backyard towards where the mosaic fire pit burned low on the tile patio further back in the yard, away from the hot tub. She was grateful that somehow, no one was there, at least for the moment. Her heels stopped squishing in the spring mud, and she stepped out onto the patio. Sheepskin rugs surrounded the fireplace. Large satin pillows in dark purples dotted the rugs. She lay down on the rug, looked up at the clear night sky, and breathed in the smell of spring. Off went her shoes and socks, littered carelessly on the lawn as she curled her toes into the rug and closed her eyes. Sighing, she realized she couldn't pretend anymore like there was any other real option as to what she was going to do. She reached for her phone nestled into her push up bra when a shadow passed over her. Her eyes snapped open at the weight of someone settling on top of her. She opened her mouth to give a sharp reproach, but he put his hand over her mouth.
"I don't recall giving you permission to come to this party," a voice purred into her ear.
Go forth! Admire my cover! Buy my book! Spread the word like it's a STI!
Also! I just learned what an ARC (Advanced Reader's Copy) is 'cause I have one! Whooooo! I feel so professional! Funnily, this one has been a tiny bit more exciting to have released than BWE just because there was a big editing process and I got to pick out my cover.
