[Goals Update 2010] Seven times I pierce my heart/ now I feel the magic start . . .

1. Spirituality

* Overlap on crafting and writing

* Japa

* Raw silk over mojo bag seems to be making said bag non inflammatory


2. Get in better shape/eat better

* Holiday weekend, also not condusive to any of this. However, cheese is gone (not all by me), have been attempting moderation. Things will be less crazy post vaca/sister's wedding

* Went to the gym once


3. Writing:

* First AOL article made it through the first part of the submission process.

* Conducted interviews to write a second article for AOL (it pays the same as DS but the topics are a little more fun and a change of scene. They want you to use your voice verses the designated DS voice).

* Wrote second article for AOL

* Submitted an article for WitchVox

* Submitted an article for SageWoman

* Submitted to Llewellyn for their annual publications (almanacs, etc)

* Submitted an article to Witches & Pagans

* Inquiring into becoming a Title Editor for DS

* Contemplating that maybe I am a better non fiction writer than fiction?

* Submitted to another content writing mill that's reputable/on par for pay


4. Crafting

* Still spinning the same skein

* Had a v. productive meeting with Jow about branding, pre-launch plans, launch plans, marketing, etc. for Trevia


5. Other

* Going to Florida for 5 days starting Sat. I'm told there is a lazy river. I will be working on DS stuff there whenever possible.

* Apple picking with Jow

* Switched purse to new Juicy purse (I got it on mega sale for Labor Day week and honestly? I *love* daydreamers for utility - the pockets inside are perfect, the drop handle is perfect, and this one made improvements on construction since my last one. I wore the other one every day for a year and it costed me like .43 a day. This one will cost me .35 a day so it's worth it to me to have a bag that I wear that much and doesn't die)

* Took relevant pictures for one of my articles with my sister

* Baby hat for sis is complete

* Library books for trip, reserved

* Madison dress arrives on Monday, Ava dress on Wed for wedding

* Jewelry ordered

Summer, you are always a betrayer.

I always get excited for summer, but inevitably, it's like Charlie Brown and the football.

Summer, you're fired. And inevitably you bleed over until about mid-October. Fall/Early Winter (Oct-Jan), you're hired. You get a bad rap, but you're full of Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Pumpkin Bread, fireplace smells, cozying up at home, stews, productive work and relaxing. More over, you are full of Shit I Want to Do.
