* Yesterday I didn't get any writing done, I was too busy with other stuff. This consistant writing thing with working OT and home ownership is challenging to say the least.
I did however do the following:
* Repierced my mom's ears as requested. This is a traumatic process for all parties involved and I told her to stop letting them close as it's distressing to have to stab my mother in the ear. Basically, the holes half close and I have to root around in my mom's squish cartilidge looking for where would be a good place to stab an earring through. This time, no blood of my mother's on my hands, so victory!
* I also fixed her computer . . .again. I finally figured out the problem. Me: When have you cleaned out your cookies? Mom: . . .cookies. Me: ::slaps forehead:: Okay, I fix. Here's how you do for the future.
* Tax return finished, just needs mailing. I get to keep a small bit (okay, not really, HOME DEPOT gets to keep a small bit for flooring) and after all that,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
shardkin and I owe the Bank of Mom and Melissa (BM&M) a total of $161.00 for our downpayment! That is so fucking punk rock I cannot even tell you. We've been busting ass to pay it down (because yes, it's a good chunk more than the incentive) and basically after tax return, we're done! We fucking paid it off, bought paint, bought new flooring for the kitchen and bathroom in FIVE FUCKING MONTHS, readers! Rock!!!!!!!!!
* We met with Empire carpets who are sort of shady in the way they do business. But, we learned that next year we will be able to afford Mohawk SmartStrand Carpet (or a similiar product) which lasts much longer than regular carpet and is made from recycled bottles!
* Gathered up all my pills so I'm now set for the next couple months and did not even need to bother my dr. for a week's rx (sometimes the mail order makes it so I have to pay out of pocket for a week's rx so there's no lapse).
* Hadarxacies over for dinner last night.
* Made my largest tribble to date! I may even put a photo up of her, she turned out pretty well! After thought and study, I think I fixed a spinning flaw too. I will be sendingyuki_onna one of the new BFL tribbles for her to play with Kool Aid dye. It may or may not have been a bribe.
* Tonight April andthestormbringer are coming over to visit myself and shardkin respectively. There will be dinner, april and I will be nipping out for starbucks to have an unbridled bitch session and then we will return for ice cream and Jennifer's Body!
* Naturally, there will be writing for me from either the hours of 3-5:30p or 4-5:30p depending on what time I'm sprung. Possibly til 6p. The good news is I have *all* of Saturday (all day and all night) to write if I so desire . . .or let's be real, have to. I will be finished with CoC by sat, punt it over to JohnM to be punted back to me and then posted on Monday for the beta readers. It will go out no later than Wed. If I can finish CoC before Sat (ideal), Sat will be used to completely gut Bite send to JohnM, send to beta readers and then send that. Then I have a heady first week in March to write 3 stories of approximately 3K-5K words each, JohnM, beta readers, off to the editor. There's more. But that's all I can cope with right now and all that's relevant now. Eye on the motherfucking prize.
