* I just got the skirt I ordered from Classic Thread USA. Firstly, Kristina is a joy to work with. Secondly, omg the skirt. It is soooo Betty Draper - gunmetal gray taffeta with a heavy black velvet bottom and it's so full and it fits so well and it was so inexpensive! Kristina's done mostly Renaissance stuff, but she's really good at pattern reading. So if you're like me, a bigger chick who wants a certain fashion that's either impossible to find or omg expensive, I recommend going to her with your pattern and fabric ideas. Now I just need to anxiously await my fuller petticoat to wear with it so full justice is done for the skirt. I'm *praying* it gets here before Arisia, but if not I'll wear it with my less fluffy petticoat.

* Thanks to James, this slight sinus infection is clearing up with the help of new OTC meds and a faux netipot like thing, but I use a squirt bottle, not the pot, which is *awesome* because I've been a miserable sack all week.

* James found a new chinese place with yummy duck and they use yummy different vegetables!

* I found a wonderful new (to me at least) tea/brunch spot to try out with my mom and sis for my birthday. They have flowering teas and sparkling teas!

* Tonight I'm escorting Mothra to her company holiday dinner which means free posh food and booze. I'm going to wear my new cute belted grey sweater with my new cute pleated knee length kilt.

* dossy has been incredibly kind and patient helping me get my website up and going.

* Finally got a good night sleep last night
