I don't know what's wrong with me, since about Monday. I've had what my household calls "nebulous stinky cat syndrome" (i.e. a cat smells, but you don't know why and/or if the cat could be doing something to not smell).

It could be the low grade headcold I can't shake.
It could be PMS.
It could be I haven't been able to stay asleep this week.
It could be fibromyalgia issues.
It could be (d) all or none of the above.

Haaaaaaaaaaaaate. So outside of going to work and doing v. basic social obs, I haven't been doing much of anything. It's been a low productivity week so far.

Ugh. I so don't want to do a glad game today because I feel like shit. I am so over NSCS. But I always said that's when you need to do a glad game most, when you want to the least.

* Pandora is playing good music (Mating Game, Bitter:Sweet, Bus Mall, Decemberists)

* shardkin turned in his application to RVCC. Optician-ship, ho! He starts his first english class in the summer. They now give financial aid for part timers, so hopefully he will qualify for some loans (or, even better, grants) come fall so he can take two classes at a time and finish in fourish years. Plus he's going to still be doing massage so even if it takes a bit to either start working in a lab or something (to get $$$ for school, punk rock bennies, and connections) in the last bit of school for the reasons listed, or he works doing some kind of lab/massage hybrid while looking for an optician job, he'll still be employed which is the name of the game in this economy (though hopefully it will be better in fourish years or at least better enough that people are hiring a lot again). But I am v. proud of him for taking this step to get a better paying, less physically taxing job in a few years.

* James is going to hunt for duck for me for dinner tonight because he's awesome like that. And sinus medicine. No one in my casa is feeling particularly well.

* We just got new port that's delightful. Warrior vintage which is a "step up" from the regular warrior port we've been drinking.

* Slept through the night last night.

* The boys felt sorry enough for me last night that I got to watch whatever I wanted. So there was Little Miss Perfect and some ghost hunters.

* I managed to take a shower last night and not slip and kill myself (I got kinda wobbly).

* Coffee and gossip with Miss April last night

Sisters/ are doing it/ for themselves

So, I have not charged a thing (. . .besides $300 towards flooring with a home depot card which I promptly paid off and have only for a house disaster [i.e. need a new toilet because the old one is not fixable and um we only have one bathroom, etc.]) since October 2008 and have paid a decent chunk of my debt post divorce (both on my own and from the properity settlement) so that it is now in a new Hyunda Accent range verses scary student loan or medical procedure range which is where it was just prior to the divorce.
