• Yesterday after my date with James, I managed to bang out 1,000 words on the romance. I know I promised my beta readers Monday #
• but I've been doing such a drastic re-write on this and I need to punt it over to JohnM to put it into English (his copywriting moto: #
• I make no promises if it's good or not, but damnit everything is spelled and punctuated correctly!) #
• My original story was 12K, I hacked it down to 8K. I thought about it a lot and hacked it down to 2K and it needs to be about 8K. #
• I'm at about half of that. Ideally, I need to finish it over the weekend. Ideally. #
• Tonight I will be trying my hand at cabbage rolls, I do believe! #
• Tomorrow I have my super sekrit road trip with April in the afternoon. #
• Still spinning! My newest tribble doesn't even look like a tribble, it looks pretty yarn like, which was sort of strangely sad. #
• Today I'm going the distance/ I'm going for speed. I'm going to attempt to treadmill (slowly) for an hour. Maybe I need to do yoga nightly #
• and treadmill on Fridays. It could be. I'm going to assess if I have a shot at the 13M at the end of March, I think. #
• If I'm not there yet, I'm not there yet and that's okay! #
• Last night post date, I had an hour or two to myself for the first time in a long time. It was sort of nice. I wrote & packed my bento. #
• I'm happy where the rewrite of my story is going. In trad romance, if you had a naughty reputation, you had to be ashamed of it, #
• even if you pretended you weren't. I never cared for that. Romantica, there's more leeway. My characters are connecting much better #
• now that my main char doesn't have to slink around with a big ole scarlet A on her gown. #
• Valentine's day will be celebrated at Skylark with J^1 & J^2 which is happy. #
• I would like to finish a dolly or two over the weekend too. #
