They'll never know/ what I have owned!
Dec. 4th, 2010 02:10 pmLast day wasn't the last day of work (though I am now done). Tea with bosslady was had, though financial arrangements are still being finished which is irritating like whoa. I don't like even feeling non consentually controlled let alone actually being non consentually controlled. I don't like it when someone holds something I need over my head in order to get me to behave to their liking.
And I don't think that's what my boss is intending, she's all over the place and dealing with her business going under, but the feeling is still the same and I . . .don't deal well with that.
So naturally, since our face time is over and I only have a limited window to be unemployed (I have employment lined up), I am now trying to regain control over myself and to make sure I don't waste this time by sleeping all damn day (also, I was sick last week which didn't help me get a productive start).
To that end!
1. Have re-dyed my hair red and bleached a streak of my hair. Purple dye is now setting into my hair. As I have worked for The Man since I was about 14, I have never gotten to do anything fun and semi permanent that would be visable and cause my mother to disapprove. It's fun to have the thrill of, Mom is going to *flip* when she sees this at thirty years old, especially since I own my own place and can't get grounded. ;p This is a much more time consuming process than I had figured, but it's getting there!
2. Have contacted my piercer friend to find out how much it will cost to get a v. small sparkly piercing in my right nostril. Also plan on getting a captive piercing for my tummy when I go.
3. This coming Thursday morning I have a phone interview with unemployment.
4. I plan on cleaning out two closets and getting the office in order. We will be ordering the desk shortly. I will make the terraniums I've been wanting to make for it. Also will clean the house more and make other small improvements, hopefully in time for my family to see at xmas.
5. Craft a few xmas gifts.
6. Write smutty short stories.
7. Write book outline.
8. Shop xmas sales post xmas.
That's the plan, man. This is unlike me to be quite so openly rebellious so April is stopping by to hang and talk and probably make sure I haven't lost my damn mind. I started feeling calm again though once I started dying my hair, it's reasserting control over myself which always helps.
