1. What bill do you hate paying the most?
My consolidated credit card bill. Here's all of your 20something financial fuckups in a tidy, expensive monthly bill you'll be paying for another four years.

2. Do you miss being a child?
I have to be honest, no I do not. And I frankly never have upon becoming an adult. I really, really liking having my own agency and being in charge of me.

3. Chore you hate the most?
Cleaning the tub.

4. Where was the last place you had a romantic dinner?
In my kitchen :)

5. If you could go back and change one thing what would it be?
Oh Jesus. This always begs the question, if I went back in time and changed x or y, would I be the same person? If the answer is yes, I have like three things I'd hit the delete button on.

6. Name of your first grade teacher?
Mrs. Booz

7. What do you really want to be doing right now?
Being a slag and getting over the rest of my cold on my couch watching real housewives of DC and getting paid for it.

8. What did you want to be when you grew up?
First a vet, then a writer.

Don't feel as bad as yesterday . . .Going to work.

13. Last thought before going to sleep last night?
What to make for my sister's baby shower

15. Have you ever crashed your vehicle?
My first car, si.

16. If you didn't have to work, would you volunteer?
Yes but not like at a full time job level or anything.

17. Get up early or sleep in?

21. Favorite lunch meat?

I avoid Wal-Mart like the plague. From Target . . .I don't know, I usually have a different list every time I go.

23. Do you think marriage is an outdated ritual?
Ehhh. Not really. But I think everyone who gets married needs to be clear with themselves and their future partner what it means to them and make sure both ideas mesh. I do think it should be available to everyone.

24. Favorite movie you wouldn't want anyone to find out about?
Not so much I wouldn't want people to find out but the sheer number of times I've watched it . . .April and I have watched Jennifer's Body often enough that it's not scary at all to me and I'm a fraidy cat.

NPR.

28. Sopranos or Desperate Housewives?
Judge Judy

29. Worst relationship mistake that you wish you could take back?
Oh jesus, here's another big question. It's hard to say because I really try to use my mistakes as learning experiences, oh hey don't do x stupid shit again. I wish I could recognize a toxic, co-dependent situation faster than I tend to and do something about it. It's a general failing of mine that I don't realize someone's acting fucked up to me unless someone hits me (but no SO has) so the learning curve on that is really really slow. And when I figure it out, it's usually omg shit got really, really bad on both sides and I didn't even realize it. My big learning experience from that is that if I feel like I can't talk about something happening in my relationship to someone, that is super no bueno. And I do self checks on that every couple weeks.

corvaxgirl: (girlfriend geek)
Jow and I had talked a while back about starting a quasi monthly honest to gods once off gaming thing at our house where each game is a self contained unit beginning-middle-end in about 4 hours that can be returned to if favored by the players.

And then promptly, for like a crazy few months, I couldn't even contemplate it. But before we know it, it's going to be winter which is always more cozy and cocoon like, making it a good time to play. Also I like having people over to hang out on Friday nights and we can order take out and it can be super low key. Having other people volunteer as the whipping boy/girl GM also really helps.

So, in Dec. Jow will be running either Mage (Mad Men Era)or D&D Underdark (go Drow or go home!) and then the other game in Jan. I will be running my Nothing Says Almost Valentine's Day Like a Bloody Bloody Sabbat Game in Feb.

If you are local to me (central NJ) and you didn't get an invite and would like to play, ping me.

But it warmed my geeky girl heart to get to write,
Jow can correct me if I'm mistaken, but I *believe* for Mage you must play an Son/Daughter of Ether (but there's a lot of room for interesting character concepts, we can help you if you need help) or a Traditionalist that has reason to be friendly with the technocracy (and you'll need to give your reason in creation), as we will be playing out their break from the technocracy. And we don't do NWoD, only OWoD, somewhere between second and third edition.
