* Got my hair cut short yesterday! After a short adjustment period, I really like it. It's pretty cute and there's something liberating about hacking off a bunch of hair.

* April, Jow, and I went to check out Sonic yesterday. We decided slushes + vodka = win for future hanging at my place. Plus corn dog and tots, nom!

* No boss in today!

* This has meant signing up for eLance for writing, I made two proposals so far!

* It has also meant doing some shopping for house things. I got two wall murals, a backsplash, a bathroom rug, curtains for the living room, curtains for Spare Oom, and minky fabric for the armchair. The house is coming along!

* We've been bento'ing again! This week's: mini turkey burgers in crescent rolls, vegetables au gratin, rice, pickle, and gummies.

* Tonight I'm having a bachelorette night in as Jow had said. With James away, I decided to hang at home tonight. I'm going to the gym and to kohls and possibly making pasta pesto. Theoretically, there will be crafting and writing. In actuality, I might eat pizza or cereal for dinner and then drink a lot of tequila because I can and watch trashy tv until I die from it.

* Jow took this weekend off, which I'm looking forward to in a major way. We're going to do some massive Boggan reconnecting and work on the house. Potential projects that may get finished:
* Start terraniums finally
* Make bedcrown
* Make an herb wreath
* Organize closets
* Put together bed for spare oom
* Put up pictures
* Put together spare oom

We'll see what gets finished. We're getting much closer to looking "finished". At least we've been completely unpacked since like Jan!

There's been blood in my mouth/ because I've been biting my tongue all week . . .

So, in my effort to basically continually "double dog dare" myself into stretching myself past my basic comfort levels, I have now submitted (2) proposals to two different conventions.

One is for DexCon to GM a Sabby game using OWoD V:TM that I've entitled, "Portions for Foxes" that will take place in Vegas. It's hard to get everyone I know organized to play (maybe over the summer?), but if I get on the schedule, they can always come to the con and play if they like. :) I've never gm'ed for an entire group of strangers or at a con, so it will be an interesting experience for me if I get picked.

The second one is for Arisia, and it's for an entire track that I was recently asked to do by the conhead herself, and that's all I can say about that until September!
